TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms of business are to protect and clarify the legal rights of our customers as well as the company.

DEFINITIONS

This website, found under the www.parkerandjules.com URL, is operated by Parker and Jules Limited and references to “we”, “us”, “our” and “the company” shall be deemed to be referenced to Parker and Jules Limited. References to “you”, “your” “customer” and “client” shall be deemed to be referenced to the person or company placing an order.

Please read through these terms and conditions carefully before placing your order. By using this website and/or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. Please also read our privacy statement regarding personal information provided by you. We may change these terms from time to time without notice to you. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received. Once your order has entered our dispatching process, we will not be able to make any changes.

HANDMADE PRODUCTS

Our products are made by partially humans and partially by machines, small imperfections / differences in shape, size and colour can happen and are part of the charm of a handmade product. This part of the handmade process is what makes our products unique and should not be seen as a fault. They will never affect the overall aesthetic of the product and its ability for use as intended.

It is the customers or their agent’s responsibility to check that they have received the correct design and colour before altering the product or handing it to any third party for processing. Mistakes in labelling can happen. Once cut or handed onto a third party we cannot accept responsibility for any errors which occasionally do occur.

ORDERING PROCEDURE

All orders are dealt with on an individual basis. We are unable to supply any goods on a sale or return basis and all orders are accepted on receipt of full payment by pro forma. We accept Visa and MasterCard although there is a 2.5% additional payment charge to use this service. All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.

Many of our items are handmade and while the colour matching and reproduction is a close representation, every run is individual and variations in actual goods may occur. We cannot accept any responsibility for these minor variations. Our fabrics are made from natural products and may thus have natural characteristics such as slubs and other irregularities in the yarns, which are not weaving faults and therefore not considered faults by us as a company.

CANCELLING AN ORDER

Whilst every effort will be made to accept the cancellation this can only happen if the cancellation is made prior to any cutting or printing of fabric. If cutting or production has begun then a 50% deposit will be kept.

For bespoke products, cancellation is not possible if the product has already gone into production.

All cancellations should be made in writing.

RETURNS

Returns cannot be accepted unless by prior agreement.

All faults or damages must be reported within 7 days of receipt of delivery.

Unauthorised returns will not be credited to the customer’s account.

Returns of bespoke fabrics, wallpapers, furniture and soft furnishings such as cushions, blinds and curtains will only be accepted where products are found to be faulty or damaged on receipt of products.

Fit for Purpose; the customer must satisfy themselves that any product supplied by the Company is fit for purpose for which the customer purchases it for.
